Awareness Through Movement® is an open and generative form. To create a new ATM lesson, we need to understand how the brain learns, how the musculature works, and how coherence and function attract the nervous system. In this two-day workshop, you will see how these criteria work together as David presents a selection of original lessons that he created specifically to communicate and transmit important ‘Feldenkraisian’ theoretical and functional ideas. Although these lessons were conceived for use in advanced training programs, they are also relevant and valuable to the public.
Each day, three to four lessons will be explored, followed by an open discussion of the lesson's origins, construction, function, purpose and Functional Integration applications. A post-workshop Q&A session will be included. The lessons will range from gentle and internal, to dynamic and challenging.
“I’m really looking forward to this opportunity to share some of the work that I am most proud of; lessons that respond to our needs as Feldenkrais Teachers! I hope you will find that they clarify, demonstrate, and illuminate, as well as add to your ATM library and your FI repertoire.”
- Six Awareness Through Movement® lessons (up to eight if time allows)
- Ability to submit questions for a post-workshop recorded Q&A session
- 25% discount on one Feldenkrais Access on-demand program
- Stream recordings indefinitely
- Option to download recordings

"I have been a practitioner since 1996. Since beginning to study with David, I feel that my real Feldenkrais education has begun.
David provides a rich, rare living resource of authenticity for the entire body of the work of Dr. Moshe Feldenkrais which he offers with clarity, compassion, and generosity.
The online classes are an invaluable gift in their structure and subjects, organization of materials, and rich surrounding support such as recordings, and accessible Q&A sessions."
