About Elizabeth

Elizabeth Beringer, GCFP, is a Feldenkrais® Practitioner and Trainer. She studied and worked closely with Dr. Feldenkrais from 1976 to 1984 in both Israel and the U.S. She has been involved with the practice and development of the Feldenkrais Method for more than 30 years, including founding and editing the Feldenkrais Journal, developing educational programs and materials, and co-founding Feldenkrais Resources with David Zemach-Bersin in 1984. Elizabeth holds a 6th-degree black belt in the martial art Aikido, which greatly informs her Feldenkrais work. Currently, she is the educational director of ongoing training programs in London, Switzerland, and in California at the Feldenkrais Institute of San Diego, where she maintains her private practice.

About David

David Zemach-Bersin, GCFP, is a Feldenkrais Practitioner and Trainer. He studied and worked closely with Dr. Feldenkrais from 1976 to 1984, and graduated from the first Feldenkrais training held in the U.S. David directs Feldenkrais Professional Training Programs and teaches in programs around the world. David has maintained a continual private practice since 1977. He is recognized for forty-five years of dedication to the Feldenkrais Method and for his contribution to preserving Dr. Feldenkrais’ legacy. David co-founded Feldenkrais Resources in 1984 with Elizabeth Beringer. David is known as a warm, highly skilled, and enthusiastic teacher. He currently directs Feldenkrais Access and has been teaching classes online for both Feldenkrais Practitioners and the public since 2020. He lives in the Farmington Valley area of Connecticut.
