A Special Feldenkrais® workshop with David Zemach-Bersin and Marek Wyszynski
Twelve Unique Awareness Through Movement® Lessons
Not all Feldenkrais lessons are created equal!
In this recorded audio-only workshop, David and Marek guide you through twelve potent developmentally oriented lessons that restore your nervous system through rocking, rolling, and oscillating movements.
Research has demonstrated the therapeutic value of rocking movements to the human nervous system. Rocking can be soothing, calming, and reduce anxiety as well as helping to improve sleep, memory, and emotional well-being. Developmentally, our early movements of rocking and rolling typically precede physical and psychic traumas; thus, these lessons can access neural connections in our brain that are free of the effects of trauma.
In addition to their calming benefits, these lessons can help you improve your flexibility and posture, balance, reduce pain and discomfort, and make all of your movements feel lighter and easier. They can also help your body to be more symmetrical in both structure and function.
Rocking & Rolling is for people of all ages and easily accessible, no previous experience is required. Because the lessons build on themselves, it is ideal to do them in sequential order.
This 9.5 hour program includes the following lessons:
- Basic Rocking
- Oscillating Movements on Your Back
- Oscillating Movements to Free your Neck
